I finished this book in less than 6 hours. I could not stop once I started! While this was my least favorite of the series so far, I did enjoy the continuation of the plot line. While each story has been predictable, it was well written and interesting

This series is so good! This is book 4. I love the romance, fantasy and danger that are entwined in this series.

In this book Sorcha has learned that she‘s heir to a throne and has a brother. She‘s got slight control over her embraced gift of Fire when she is kidnapped by some elves. She‘s helped in her escape by the Woodsman, a mysterious Robin Hood figure.

Another fun entry in this fantasy #romantsy series about a group of women who are all “embraced”, gifted with special abilities and fated to meet mighty embraced heroes. A very entertaining read, though this is part of a series, it works alone, but is best read in order.
