A cute mystery set in a hotel in the snow. Money and a jewel thief and maybe a kid napping. All with dueling love interests.
This book was so freaking cute! I love Sophie, Tristan, Amy, Gretchen, Ben and so many more of these characters! What a quirky and wonderful cast of personalities set against the backdrop of an old, elegant hotel nestled in the mountains. If you enjoyed the Ruby Red and/or Dream trilogy, you will live this fun, quick read.
This is a book I requested in my flurry of trying to read as many holiday reads before the holidays as I could take. I didn't get to this one but since it's set up to New Year's Eve and a bit beyond it still works. Also this is translated YA, which I don't see all that often. (Apparently some know the author from a time travel historical romance series, this seems more contemporary.)⤵️
A friend mentioned that this book gave her YA Vicki Bliss vibes, so that immediately moved it to the top of my list. So far, it's pretty delightful.
