This is most definitely a beach read. Tess and Cole hook up for one night and the result is a baby. Though it was only a one night stand, the characters have some serious chemistry. However, they can't seem to find the right footing between them. Not a new trope but still a cute story. I did a lot of eye rolling at these two characters. 3.5 to 4ish ⭐️

Really really enjoying this series. It‘s sappy and a little raunchy and I love it. There were a few phrases that were said a few too many times to not feel forced but enjoyed the characters and story enough not to care! On to book 3!!

I'm a sucker for a modern rom-com but this couple... I wanted to shake them so badly.⁠

Tess and Cole fell hard and fast into instalust, which I can't blame Tess. I mean the author described Cole as Thor's twin brother so of course I'm nodding my head with Tess and her lust-making decision but I so very much wanted sake both of them.

Pretty standard chick-lit, but the "neither party thinking the other wants the relationship to go further but actually both do" trope got old fast. I was annoyed at both of them through half of it, but cute story. Very steamy. I often don't get bored by sex scenes, but even to me it felt superfluous.

Outward hysterical laughter. Warm and fuzzies. Lovely romance.

Just what I needed. Light, fun and sexy.

Can‘t believe I‘ve already read 43 books this year! And this self quarantine business is going to allow me to keep up this pace.

First book I‘ve finished all week! Thankful to Hoopla so I can listen to audio for free because it‘s not my preferred form of reading. I still want to read it with my eyes sometime because I know I missed a few things but I enjoyed it and giggled a few times. Also first #spring prompt for #Booked2020 as it made me LOL!

1.5 hours left-hoping to finish tonight.

Still unable to workout but I can drink a smoothie and enjoy this #audiobook with a sleeping dog at my feet.

With the libraries being closed and my eye injury (that I know I‘m whining about) I redownloaded Libby and Hoopla on my iPad. Giving audio another try.
