Today‘s a blissfully quiet day after a wild festive week - tomorrow begins a new “party marathon” of several birthdays within my close family 😅
So today it is - my introvert‘s day to replenish body & soul.
I‘m spending the day by myself & took a long walk along the river, catching a few rays of winter sun.
Now snuggling up with my last book of 2019!
I‘ve been eying this book for a time & hope it‘s just the thing - fun with some substance 🙃

Great read. Whipped through this one. It was definitely in the same vein as some other mistress style historical fictions, but still enjoyable. I found the character of Freud very annoying and self centred. I don't know much about the true character of the real Freud, but this was just awful. However, still worth a read!
