I enjoyed the book and it‘s premise of being different. Anya being Jewish in a land against Jews is another point in this story‘s travels. Left me wanting. The story felt a little all over the place to me, thou I loved the new characters. The bi-disaster boy was humorous to watch in a good way. Great representation of multiple groups. Just not a fan of all the Russia Tsar parts where some parts happen in modern day Ukraine. Might just be me here.
