The third in the series, this one takes Elvis and Joe to New York via an investigation job for a selfish and childish Hollywood producer. As is the way of these books, unexpected trouble ensues! I‘m a master at skipping the violent bits now, and I enjoyed the layers in the plot. It is a pleasure to see the development of the main characters in a series, and I look forward to starting the 4th book right away! Another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me.

Finished both Stalking The Angel & Lullaby Town. I love Robert Crais' writing,he can switch between serious & snarky & back again with ease.Elvis Cole is an amazing character but it's the straight man to his Bud Costello that I really love,Joe Pike. If you're ever in deep shit, Pike is the man you want on your side. A little bit sociopath but a lot more empathetic than that, he'll do whatever it takes to protect a victim. Love the whole series.5⭐️
