Feeling much better today. So I finally feel capable of joining in on #LitsyPartyOfOne with this new read. I love all of Studio Ghibli‘s films (and will probably have them on in the background as I read this) and Miyazaki is like a god to me.

While I don't have the book itself, it's worth remembering that Nausicaa got its start as a #manga by #Miyazaki, one written on the publisher's condition that it not be adapted into an #anime . Miyazaki has created a lot of great heroines, but in many ways, his first is still my favorite.
Glorious #bookmail on Miyazaki's birthday. Yessss! Bonus: tonight I get to see the 20th anniversary theatrical release of Princess Mononoke (subtitled is tonight at 7pm and dubbed is on Sunday, if you're interested in seeing it. Just check your local movie theaters ☺️)
