5/5🌟LOVED! Yuknavitch has written one of the most gripping story collections I have ever read! Each story was dark, raw and full of feeling. The characters inside these stories are flawed and deeply impressionable. Living turbulent, painful, messy lives, and yet an element of beauty exists too. Intense, powerful, raw, brilliant- all the reasons I ALWAYS read Lidia Yuknavitch. They say art should disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed. This book is the perfect example of that. Her writing is eloquent yet astoundingly dark.
