I listened to this on my drive home from vacation and it was the perfect Thanksgiving read. It follows the Dickenson family over three years of Thanksgiving dinners and the drama surrounding the meals that comes with family. The characters are flawed but relatable. TW for cancer and grief, I definitely teared up a couple times. It's short and sweet, just over a 3 hour listen, with a heartwarming theme of gratitude.

Make sure to read the helpful description provided by audible. This is not an easy, happy, holiday read. It deals with grief over a number of years.

I though of this Audible Original for today‘s #thankful prompt. Set mostly around some family Thanksgivings, it has a strong November vibe. 🦃

I got this as a free Audible Original last year & finally managed to get it listened to on Thanksgiving & today while #audiowrapping presents. A good family/sibling drama that takes place over several Thanksgiving dinners where life & circumstances change from year to year. At first the MC annoyed me but she grew on me, as did her family & I enjoyed this quick holiday listen that had me missing my siblings & our own family quirks & traditions.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don‘t be fooled by the cute cover, this novella made me cry! Set on several Thanksgiving Days, each two years apart, one family deals with loss, grief, and major life changes. There are happy moments as well including a feel-good ending, which was a relief. A solid way to spend a couple of hours.

Librariana Will definitely look for it! Thanks for the rec! 😊 4y

If you experience holiday drama like normal people then you will laugh and cry thru this short Thanksgiving novella.

Sweet and heartwarming, but takes you on a roller coaster of emotions before you get there. ❤️ #AtoZLitsy (Letter Y)
