Ripper Confidential: New Research on the Whitechapel Murders | Tom Wescott

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Far too technical for a Ripper layperson like me. I stubbornly continued even after Wescott stated right off: “My apologies to any readers for whom this is your first Ripper book. It shouldn‘t be.” So, this is my fault. 😆 I did a fair amount of skimming because I wasn‘t interested in so many details. I just need the basics to get a general idea of the murders and possible suspects, not pages upon pages about Elizabeth Stride, for example.

Our school‘s fabulous principal 👩🏻‍🏫 says to use this week for health and well-being and not stress about curriculum. So, after a super fun nature scavenger hunt 🍀🐌🍄🐍 at the greenway, and MUCH needed fresh air, my boys are on their tablets and I‘m in the tub 🛁📖. Gotta read this book during the day! 🙈 And I‘m using my kids‘ tub because husband is working from home 💻 in our bedroom. We‘re adapting well, I guess. #rona

LapReader We are still hard at work at school creating an online platform for the kids that is supposed to already be up and running. The boss did bring in a free coffee caravan for us yesterday though. He said it was to keep us awake. The chai latte was awesome. 4y

britt_brooke @Reviewsbylola The trick is ... we recently hooked up our old Wii and now the boys have video games for the first time. 🤣 So, I let them have extra time if they leave me alone. It‘s not super peaceful because this is their bathroom, and those mofos are nearby and LOUD, but I‘ll take it. 😄 4y
