I usually like to consume my nonfiction reads in audiobook format, but I‘m finding this book quite enjoyable in print form. The illustrations, excerpts, charts, and pictures compliment the information quite well. When I was a kid I wanted to be a paleontologist...but it wasn‘t something that a girl of poor Mexican immigrant parents who lived in a not-so-great part of Chicago did, so I wasn‘t encouraged to pursue that dream. 🤷🏽♀️

Stumbled across this one at the library last week.
I never really thought about the road to the first dinosaur. The narrative non-fiction feel makes this an accessible read, even if you never went through a dinosaur obsession.
