I love listening to David Sedaris, so I did the audio version. I like his humor, even though it can be a little cringy at times but that‘s him. I liked that it was read by him & Tracy Ullman. My parents live a neighborhood over from where he grew up (they live down the road from the North Hills area of Raleigh NC). So it‘s always interesting to listen to him talking about Raleigh or his house at the beach in NC. He discusses many topics

ncsufoxes & his relationship with his dad is discussed a lot. I‘m partially jealous of all of travel & homes. Anyhow it‘s a long audio listen, 17 hours but if you like Sedaris it‘s worth the time. I‘ll probably buy a physical copy for my shelves one day since I already own a few of his books. #bookspin book 1y

I love Sadaris and would love to have him over for dinner. His observations of daily life and hilarious interactions with others are enjoyable. My favorite entries include anything with Amy or Hugh. This one was quite long and needed more editing as some dragged on a bit. I prefer his essays as his ability to build a situation to deliver a fantastic comedic ending is fantastic, and this collection only has a few of those moments.
