pickOkay, last review and I‘ll be caught up! Finished this one tonight. I absolutely loved this fantasy novel. It‘s rich in the details of the world and the magic. I loved the characters and the magic system. Ryx is a great character to follow and is so strong. She kills everything she touches, she‘s never had a real relationship or friendship. There is a lot of political stuff going on in this book and I loved it. Can‘t wait to pick up the next one!

Laughterhp @LiteraryinLawrence Oh my, good question! Her full name is Ryxander. (Which in my head I pronounced ryZander). So in my head I said Reex (which is probably wrong). But it‘s easier to continuously read it as a soft S. 12mo

LiteraryinPA Who knew? 😋 I think however it sounds in your head is the “right” way to say it. I‘ve had whole books that I‘ve read and then only later when I talk with another reader do I realize I‘ve been hearing it wrong. 🤷🏻♀️ 12mo
