Finally, my copy of Write Yourself A Lantern has arrived! It's a beautiful journal for all of you who love to write. There are some prompts, but also many empty pages for your own thoughts, ideas, and stories. I can also imagine that it's a lovely gift idea for fans of Acvedo and/or journaling.

Not bookish (I chose the tagged book for its title) but today‘s #lantern prompt made me think of the Shinnyo Lantern Floating ceremony that happens each year (except the past 2 COVID years) in Honolulu. Thousands of people gather on Memorial Day & write a message to loved ones they‘ve lost (family, friends, pets) on candle-lit wood & rice paper lanterns, floated out in the water as the night falls. It‘s gorgeous & moving to see.

A must if you loved The Poet X and enjoy journals with writing prompts. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
