I wasn‘t planning to start a new book this morning, (I need to finish my last book of 2020, 150 Glimpses of the Beatles), but in checking out a new library book, I read the intriguing first paragraphs of this memoir and had to keep reading.

Pickpick

Between a pick and so-so for me. It's a memoir about the author after she loses her husband when they were both 40. She tells how she dealt with the kids, the grief and her work. The sections on her work are very interesting - she's an astrophysicist who searches for exoplanets (other worlds similar to earth). 🌎 She hired women to help with housework and for her kids when she traveled. Wish she spoke more about them as she became close to them.
