Fantastic read. My heart kept breaking. Starting with an event and then going back wards, took awhile to get used to but such an interesting approach!

This book was great but hard to get used to. A relationship is narrated from the end to beginning, so the structure is a bit confusing at first. Besides that, amazing read. Even more entertaining than the romance between Theo and “Angel” was the exploration of a parent‘s influence on their child‘s relationships and trauma. Learning about the MC‘s background and then connecting it with problems in her relationship was really eye opening.
Out of Love is a story of the relationship of an Irish woman and her boyfriend Theo, written in reverse, from breakup to the day they met. It was a clever idea, but the chapters were a little disjointed and I was not able to really care for the characters because the beginning is so depressing. Thanks Penguin Group and NetGalley for the opportunity.
I don't think the gimmick of a failed-love story told in reverse worked quite as well as I'd wanted, but this was often very compelling. Dudes are a real piece of work, aren't they?

My toddler is going through a sleep regression - which means I was up all night with disrupted sleep... The positive side is that I finished this gem 💎 Goodreads recommended this one to me and I hadn't previously heard of it - it turned out to be one of the best books of the year for me. It starts out with a relationship ending and works backwards in time to the origins of the relationship. So much I could relate to with this one.
this evenings reading brought to you from a much needed bubble bath 😅

“Out of Love” tells the story of a doomed relationship in reverse, from break-up to first kiss. This isn‘t your typical romance story but that probably made me enjoy it even more. I‘d definitely recommend you give it a try regardless of whether or not you‘re already a fan – 5 stars!
