Paris Match is the story of an American man in Paris struggling to assimilate, full of culture shock and things lost-in-translation. The chapter about Von Sothern's fumbling attempts to make himself understood had me in hysterics - literal knee-slapping snort-laughter. The American-man-abroad memoir is well trod ground but this is a generally charming addition to the genre. Extended review: http://keepingupwiththepenguins.com/new-releases/
