2.5⭐This is unfortunately a book that I wanted to like more than I actually liked it. The premise was cool but poorly executed. I wanted to know more about the Death Oracle powers and the rich fey world that is hinted at, but instead I got bland, barely there descriptions. It was entertaining enough to complete on audio while doing chores, but just a couple weeks later, I don't remember how it ended because it didn't resonate with me.

Updating my bullet journal today, to get ready for December which I hope isn‘t too crazy. I really want to read some cozy reads. Gonna make my next #bookspin list today

Getting some reading done with my #bookspin before I sit down to write some #litsylove letters
Not loving this one though. I just don‘t think vampires and teenagers mix well 🤣

July has been crazy busy for me! I‘ve been going on little trips and trying to enjoy the days. Not much time for other things. Today is pouring rain though so I‘m inside reading today! I‘ve missed it. I have a thousand things to do but I‘m going to read a little longer! 😊

I think I‘m both tired of teen reads and just tired of reading. I bought the book for the cover. The cover was better. Too much teen drama not enough plot or momentum in my opinion. Oh well.

Pickpick

Elise can suddenly see a person‘s death if she touches their skin. She sees but is unable to stop her brother‘s death and is devastated. She then meets mysterious Claire, who she‘s able to touch without seeing anything, but Claire has an agenda. Oh, and is a vampire. I really enjoyed this, as much as the author‘s first two books. I hate her covers, though! They look like middle grade to me and this is definitely YA.
