I‘m obsessed

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was dark, poetic, and suspenseful. It had me hooked from start to finish. The author filled every hole perfectly as it all came to close, some with peaceful resolve, but most with startling and unsettling details. I found most aspects of the conclusion to be surprisingly emotional for me, increasing my already positive view of the story.

I was excited about this, but it didn‘t live up to the expectations. I felt like this was really messy, I appreciate when you have a good mystery and are shocked by the outcome, but this just didn‘t have that. I don‘t think this was articulated well by the author.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ I liked the technique used to write this book and bc it was written the way it was I am very glad I got it as an audiobook. This book plateaued a bit early for me and I‘m kind of disappointed with how some of the twists were wrapped up. All in all it was a good read and I would #recommend it. It just wasn‘t for me. #litsy

Okay, so I got my hands on this one after finishing ‘Only the Good Indians‘. And I‘m liking the vibe so far. It is kind of scatterbrained but I‘m hoping this all ties together bc Anna is kinda that way too. This one got pretty good reviews and I hoping to give one too. #litsy #audiobooks #ya

Wooow this was wild!! I loved this book, it was very reminiscent of something Maureen Johnson would write and I love her. I loved the characters, the mystery everything about this really. I loved the flashbacks and found it super easy to follow, and loved how you could see the mystery ending coming but there were definitely still things there were completely a surprise! Overall I think this was really well written and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Two truths and a lie:
1) This book delivered 💯on all the promises the reviews made.
2) The book has a beautiful green cover.
3) A creepy mansion plays a part in the story.

This story both starts and ends with a confession...everything in between is a twisty, oft-times confusing, drug and alcohol-infused, with secrets slipping out everywhere kind of murder-mystery with an illuminating podcast to help pull it all together.

Was this really the YA Rebecca? No. But was it good? Yes. Plenty of tension and suspense, tightly written, with damaged characters who wanted to redeem themselves, this book had all the mystery! There were so many different directions it could have gone that it really was unpredictable. I really enjoyed it!
