Millions of readers have thrilled to bestselling authors Bill O'Reilly and historian Martin Dugard's "Killing Kennedy" and "Killing Lincoln," page-turning works of nonfiction that have changed the way we read history. Now the anchor of "The O'Reilly Factor" details the events leading up to the murder of the most influential man in history: Jesus of Nazareth. Nearly two thousand years after this beloved and controversial young revolutionary was brutally killed by Roman soldiers, more than 2.2 billion human beings attempt to follow his teachings and believe he is God. "Killing Jesus" will take readers inside Jesus's life, recounting the seismic political and historical events that made his death inevitable - and changed the world forever.

Mehso-so

A nice expansion of the biblical version of the months leading up to the crucifixion. Some conclusions are ridiculously broad. A good book for Easter

Pickpick

I really liked it, very graphic and doesn't push the religious part too hard, the resurrection and miraculous events are not covered, but there is a comparison between the death of Jesus and other people that were crucified showing that Jesus is separate from those individuals

Least favorite Thanksgiving food is sweet potatoes, especially if they have marshmallows. Mystery, although I won‘t rule out sci-fi. FB, although before Litsy I was a Pinterest junkie😊 Two human babies and two grand babies. No furry babies right now, but that may change in the future. And off I go✋️ #friyayintro

DivaDiane Oh, marshmallows in sweet potatoes is a travesty! I have a great roast sweet potato recipe with maple syrup, but just a tiny bit. Also they make great mash. But you can‘t boil them! It destroys the flavor. Steam or cook with a tiny bit of butter and cream (for mash). Sorry, I couldn‘t resist! 7y
Lynnsoprano @DivaDiane I do like roasted sweet potatoes, it‘s just the overly sweet casseroles that seem to show up at Thanksgiving that I don‘t care for. And sweet potato fries are a guilty pleasure. 7y

CocoReads Gah, I forgot about sweet potatoes. I don‘t like them anyway but I despise marshmallows (except when I melt them down for fudge and Rice Krispie treats) 7y
TheKidUpstairs I don't know why people insist on putting marshmallows on sweet potatoes - it's awful! I thought I hated sweet potatoes for the longest time because that's the only way I ever had them. 7y

I can't believe I actually read a book by Bill O'Reilly. 😂 So biased. Read Zealot if you want an educated look into the history of Jesus and Christianity.
