6 posts | 10 read | 4 to read
INCLUDES A SNEAK PEEK OF THE LAST GUESTS 'There's no doubt about it: Pomare is a master of the carefully constructed, impeccably paced psycho-thriller.' - The Australian Psychologist Margot Scott has a picture-perfect life: a nice house in the suburbs, a husband, two children and a successful career. On a warm spring morning Margot approaches one of her clients on a busy train platform. He is looking down at his phone, with his duffel bag in hand as the train approaches. That's when she slams into his back and he falls in front of the train. Margot's clients all lie to her, but one lie cost her family and freedom. A fast-paced psychological thriller for fans of The Silent Patient. 'one of our freshest talents' - NZ Listener

Mehso-so

I listened to this just before we left for our trip, and already, I can't recall some of the details. I didn't like the main character, which took the air out of one of the revelations, but there was a real sense of menace. The villain was very villainy.

HOME BEFORE NIGHT - not in data base
A thrilling short book which kept me guessing, pausing, and finally rethinking the whole thing! Well done to the author for that ‘out of left field‘ surprise. You got me!

Audible‘s March Pick :)

jessinikkip OMG how do you edit your photos to zoom on the one and add the stickers and stuff? 5y
ElizaMarie @jessinikkip Not sure if its the same for all phones but... iPhone, pictures, edit, markup, then the little “+“ sign, magnifier... Then I take a screen shot of that because I only use the magnifier for this but then save it with the “text“ emojis (same steps but instead of magnifier you pick text)

Hope that helps!

So, I started and finished this one today on my drive (I drove about 9 -ish hours today. Anyway, this is a perfect road-trip book! So many twists and turns! It had be guessing up until the last minute! I really really enjoyed it!

Book 3 of 4 for my #BFC28 goal! At this rate I might even be able to double the goal (ooo that is a bit of a lofty idea!)

wanderinglynn Where are you headed? TN is my home state! ❤️ 5y
Chrissyreadit I think you might pass very close to me. 5y
ElizaMarie @wanderinglynn heading up to Vermont (Marlboro). So I have about 12 hours left but I might just milk it into 2 days because these 9+ hours on the road is taking a toll on me! 5y

ElizaMarie @jb72 I‘m definitely milking it today. Stopping to eat (in my car hit joy while driving)... stopped and walked a bit at a rest stop ... just taking more time 5y
