Got a really manageable “To-Do“ today. Woke up with a slight headache and finishing my cycle, so not feeling my best anyway.

Finished this one this morning while drinking my coffee. I enjoy this series (and to think I wouldn't have started them if it weren't for #ThematicCozies @JulieClair).

I am going to start this month's cozy today while doing some #AudioChores.

Took a break from school - not sure how long yet (was going for my nurse practitioner's license, but really burned out on nursing right now). I have a lot of healing to do, which involves relaxing, loving myself, and protecting myself from negativity (hard to do when you are in health care) - This group is part of this journey. Feel so much freer knowing I don't have to listen/read/work on difficult cases while I am off work. #WildWomen

I really loved this one! It gave me “The Substance“ type vibes - which, if you haven't seen that body horror movie, I highly recommend.

Anyway, it took a little to get into, but then once I did, I was sucked in so quickly!

My baby got neutered yesterday, so today is a day of laying in bed and taking it easy (naturally I have to take it easy too so that he doesn‘t try to follow me around the house) — meaning —- great day to lay around and read!!!

So- the worst one so far- I didn‘t really care for the story or anything that happened throughout. It felt boring and the wedding and its preparations felt so ehhh.

Not sure if I will continue this series.

Finished this #ThematicCozies @JulieClaire the other day (I had it on Kindle, so it was easy to pick up wherever). Anyway, it was okay - I wasn't super interested in any of the characters. I don't see myself reading more of this cozy series. Just a #NotForMe character group.

My #BookSpin @TheAromaOfBooks book this month was a graphic novel. I found and read this one (found on Libby) about this adorable little girl who visits her family in Mexico. As a guera, myself, a lot of it felt very “real“ but of course different too. I loved the Spanish throughout.

Also, pan dulce is life!!!

I really enjoyed this #Cozie (I was able to read this while the boys - my family out of town- played catch in the yard. Conor enjoyed watching them play, too.

I have kiddos in the house! As a non-mom, I don't know how you moms and grandmas do this! My godson (9-year-old), cousin (14-year-old), and mom are all visiting from Texas, and I am EXHAUSTED! Trying to entertain them - but also trying to have quiet time (my husband and I live in a dark, quiet home, usually - we aren't a fan of the “big lights“). Anyway, I am super behind on #HashtagBrigade #BuddyRead

Had to get my car serviced and forgot my current reads —- but recently had a bookstore shopping spree and the books were still in my trunk!!! Yay!

Very nicely drawn graphic novel. I think the subject matter was way heavier than you would have guessed, with all the pretty pink pictures. All in all, I think it was great :) Nice ending to the story, ties everything all together.

We don't care that we were big babies during our Botox appointment yesterday; we got an ice pack and had to take a long, long nap because we felt like we were just punched in the face.

AND tomorrow is a mammogram, and I will whine about that too!

This book blew me away. It was so sad to read how we at times violate the rights of others - I know I work in this field and its hard sometimes to navigate through the ethical delemas we go through.

Cute. Enemies (kinda) to lovers - trying to uncover a secrecy. I overall enjoyed it :)

We do not care that we look like a complete mess after a 12 hour shift at work. My falling hair bun is a product of my long day, I will not readjust for the drive. I'll brush if in the morning.

I enjoyed this one. I think the first book I enjoyed better, though, but it was still very enjoyable.

My MIL left me some beautiful flowers when she left :)

My surfaces got away from me!!! This last week was rough - work and then the weather pressure added to massive headaches. I need to clean off my surfaces today to get ready for my next batch or work days. #AudioReSet
