Had a rough 3 days at work (4 deaths) I‘m exhausted caring for others and their grief. I need to do some productive things (which helps) and just process my own thoughts and feelings. Nursing is hard on you.

pickI will never work in a kitchen (I don't think I have the chops for it), but... it sounds like a wild place to spend some time. I am thankful for the amazing chefs in my life :) - (my husband is a phenomenal cook, and his sister is a chef for a retirement community).
Anthony Bourdain was an amazing man, he is surely missed.

Plans: Catch up on #HashtagBrigade (@BreakingMadRead), therapy, finish the Suicide House, cuddle with babies, trash TV (not sure what's on the docket), and move just enough so that Lobster doesn't think I'm dead and eats my earlobes.

I took a break from my chores to run down town to the bookstore for this one. Stopped into the used bookstore (never been in as they are never open when I walk by) and although they didn't have the book, I ended up chatting with the owner for almost 2 hours 😮. Ended up getting this copy at the regular bookstore 🩵🩷🩵 #HashTagBrigade

Thanks to @TheBookHIppie, I found this one on Audible, which he read. Coincidently my husband was talking about him the other day. So, I am sure he wants me to wait to listen with him -- but I needed an #AudioCommute book (to and from work, about 25-30 min each way), so I will start this one today.

I think I am picking this one for my April #SeasonalCozies book. I don't know if it has anything to do with April (I couldn't figure that out by reading the description, but it was released on April 1, so I am counting it). Also, I had it on my Audible (I have too many books - is there such a thing - there that I haven't even approached, so I would like to do that).

pickSo this was a quick little YA book. I had it on Audible (they have the list of “free“ books). I enjoyed it but it wasn't like the best of the best or anything. But good enough for what I needed it for (a good distraction).

pickSpring has NOT sprung in Vermont (or it was one of those “false springs“ they talk about. Yesterday's snowstorm derailed my weekend plans. But, I got a lot of reading under a heated blanket cuddling with the babies time!
I finished this one. I enjoyed it, I hadn't read a paranormal romance in a while so some of the racer parts surprised me. (Maybe I wasn't used to Were/Vampire sex). Had a lot of the typical tropes too, but I still enjoyed it.
My goal for #MarvellousMarch is to finish the two books that I am currently working on.

pickFinished this one on the way home from work. I got this one on Audible/free and I enjoyed it. The Author narrates it (I love it when they do that), and it felt so “real“ and so “brave“ for her to discuss her struggles with Mental Health and how nature helped her through these depressive episodes.
I plan on re-reading when I purchase the physical copy.

so-soSo. I finished this the other day (the driving to and from work is making #AudioCommute books more of a thing). I enjoyed it. I am not going to say I don't, I just felt like... I am burned out by all these “games/puzzles“ this family is a part of. I feel like sure - it's interesting but... it feels overdone. Maybe it's good there isn't another one (or maybe when they do the next one, I will be ready).

bailedNot being very successful with #ReadYourKindle books this month. I might have liked this one --- Cozy Mystery, Witches.... I mean what's not to like!? But I couldn't get into it. I felt like it didn't get to the point fast enough. So, another #DNF for me.

Getting my second infusion today. It‘s going well so far and I‘m able to read a bit :) ~~~ this was part of the Anthology 2023 collection 💜💛💜
pickI liked this one, but not as much as book one. Book one drew me in. This one, the mystery/murder story was a little lack luster. But I loved the characters, which, of course, is why I am going to continue with this series! I really like all the old-timey rules and staff in it.
