"Life is weird. One day you're staring at your dead mother and a few days later you're building a sandcastle on the beach by yourself in the dark with a dog named after cheese."
It was taken last year while I was travelling in a small bookstore which also had a stationary section. So got myself a few Colleen Hoover books and a diary without delay.

"Dear Shawn, Every child eventually craves a new place to be. I decided your first home to be a boat, but now I wonder, Is this boat the home you‘ll flee? If so, that grave mistake is all on me. Because when a man says I‘m going home, he should be heading for the sea. -Rake Bennett 01-03-08"
I love this soo much ?♥️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Another unique, beautiful romance from Colleen Hoover! I love how she balances humor and quirkiness (naming a dog Pepper Jack Cheese, for example, is so weird and delightful to me) with emotional writing that you can feel in your own heart. Heart Bones would be a great summer read, evoking the beauty of sunrises, the sea, and first love.
While I love to read books by Colleen Hoover, I am always a little nervous reading her books. She is never afraid to destroy her readers with her characters. Samson and Beyah or no different. Read with caution; it will break your heart.
My last book read for the month of August is 'Heartbones' by Colleen Hoover. Highly recommend if you are in the mood for a satisfying YA romance that is hard to put down! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My tally for books read in August is a solid 20. Less than last month, but I was a bit more busy. September looks to be even busier, so we'll see what happens. Looking forward to finding more book worlds to dive into! 📚❤
