Marshall Everett and Ariana Gregory were unlikely to cross paths-Marshall, a former undercover agent in South America vs Ariana, daughter of an ambassador. Both have lived tragic, often violent lives and feel adrift and alone. But someone from Ariana‘s past is stalking her in Paris…

Finally read this DS book that has been on my TBR stack. a good story with a little action and adventure, a little suspense and intrigue, a little romance, and a big fairy tale ending. Here's my question for you all, do we always need a fairy tale ending? Would we like the book any less if it had a more realistic everyday people kind of ending? That doesn't mean a bad or sad ending, just more realistic. What do you all say?

Savedbygrace I personally enjoy realistic endings much of the time :) 6y

This was a pretty good book. It was fast paced and had really interesting characters. It was not what I would expect from this author. Definitely more action than romance and it really just kept on moving.
