I can't tell you how many times I went into Books-A-Million and took a picture of this book to remember to read it at some point....well, I finally did, and this has been one of, if not my favorite books that I have read this year!
The first half is the author's personal story, and the second half is present day testimonies of Christian who have been, and are under, persecution. What an impactful read that really puts our faith into perspective!

For some reason, I became randomly intrigued with the story of the Romanov family early this year and wanted to learn the true story behind the myth. After some research, I found this nonfiction drama about the last Tsar and the Romanov murder and what a gem it was! If you want a read that is both informing and exciting, I definitely recommend!

A classic novel that spins a beautiful tale of both the complexity and simplicity of life. Filled with love, family devotion and even a little mystery - a tale of life in the Ozarks that is apparently still performed as a live show in Missouri!
I enjoyed every minute of reading this!

Just placed a hold on the last book in the series and I am so excited!! Lynn Austin has quickly become one of my favorite authors for sure!

In book four, we go from the good reign of Hezekiah to the confused reign of sin his son Manasseh brings and we explore how this affects those closest to him. We also find out how God can use suffering to work His will through our lives and show us how to help others.

Crazeedi Sounds like a great series, I need to check it out! 5y

Thanks to Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler, Sherlock's skills and spirit still live in the form of a young lady whose deductive powers seem matched by no one! In The Daughter of Sherlock Holmes, the two Watsons and the new Sherlock are out to solve a complicated mystery involving treasure, codes, and murder...couldn't put it down!

A short, educational, easy read and honestly quite entertaining! The Dual gives a behind the scenes look at the lives of the men behind the famed dual. It's really amazing to see how their lives had crossed so many times before that point and how they influenced the shaping of the American government.

I LOVED this book! In this autobiography, Nabeel is so open, so honest, and so real. Giving insights on his family life growing up as a Muslim and his journey to finding truth in Jesus, Nabeel lets his readers see God's love from a different perspective.

Side note: Nabeel Qureshi has since gone on to be with the God he came to know as his own...What a story and testimony. ❤

I'm kind of backtracking here, but I realized there were a few book reviews I had yet to cover. 👍

Honestly, The Screwtape Letters, is my personal favorite book and most likely will be my new go-to. Written in letters between two demons vying for a man's soul, C.S. Lewis combines his somewhat fantastical writing style and his deep spirituality to create an entertaining yet starkly spiritual and knowledgeable read.

Daisey This is one of the books that is on my “impacted my life” list. 🤔 So many interesting things to ponder! 6y

Read this book to find out how an impossible and horrid situation brings love and redemption to Adelina and everyone around her! (Based on a true story)

What would it be like to be the archaeologist that makes the find that will essentially destroy the faith and hope of millions around the world and turn you into the most hated person living in civilization. That is the world of the main character, Anna; will she be able to hold on to her faith?

An easy and quick Christian novel exploring themes like faith, God's will and the willingness of men to give up what they treasure under trial.
