⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I never suspected love and forgiveness could be so layered, but this book reveals shades like the dawning of a new day. Full review at ScrappyMags.com Caroline finds out thru DNA testing she has a 1/2 sister named Sela. While Caroline comes to terms with dad‘s infidelity, Sela wages a war against chronic kidney disease. This book explores what family and love mean. To someone like me with chronic illness? This book hit a soft spot.
This is absolutely the best book this author has written. It's almost to lyrical. Like reading with your whole heart. It hits your soul. It's told through the eyes of Sela and Caroline. Each with a beautiful, painful, and heartfelt story to share. One that will stick to you long after you close the book. It hits you full force all the way through. From beginning to end. 5/5 huge stars..

Caroline
Long before Caroline ever felt compelled to seriously consider the split between nature and nurture, she knew exactly which traits she owed to her dad.
This is probably my favorite of Strawser‘s novels! Complex family drama ensues after Caroline & Sela are matched by a genetic site as half-sisters. Busy working mom of three, Caroline, is especially thrown by the truths revealed about her past as this relationship comes to light. Meanwhile, Sela‘s present forces her to fight for balance & within her own small circle as she comes to know Caroline. With surprises to the plot & great characters!
At last . . . I'm on vacation.

𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐞𝐫's new novel, 𝐀 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝗪𝐡𝐲, is another exploration of how the unexpected & shocking results of DNA testing impact two women who learn they are half-sisters. Having some real-life experience with the topic, I'm completely engrossed in the story.
Happy to be on staycation from this Friday at 5 p.m. through December 28th. 🎅🤶
