pickThis soft, low-angst f/f romance features a demisexual and pansexual woman in an almost insta-love relationship. I loved that both of the main characters are unabashedly fat women of color. Sadly the story was a bit of a slog for me. And there are a lot of small typos and errors since it's a self-published book, which didn't particularly bother me under the circumstances but might get to others. A low pick for me.

panMakes my Sapphic heart sad to rate an F/F romance so low. It‘s definitely cute & I love the rep here for queer WOC, fat girls, demisexuality, etc. Also liked how good Selena was about June‘s anxiety. But good Lord. There‘s an editor mentioned on the copyright page but they didn‘t do anything?? So many errors of punctuation, sentence structure, word choice. As a former editor it was so distracting. And no real characterization either. Alas. 2/5 ⭐️
