His son tells him a story about a sinister mermaid who lives in the attic of the local history museum. Pickpick

I liked this. We meet Dr. Craig Bo, a despicable, perfect from the outside kind of husband who cheats a lot on his wife and two kids. There is a lot of buzz in their home as their sleepy oceanside town prepares for their Sea Festival where he is eventually crowned Sea King. Shortly thereafter kelp starts to grow on his legs and weird stories maybe having to do with his wife and mermaids that have infiltrated their town come to light. This was 👇🏼

Reggie great. I could have read a whole book on the history of that town and the women from the sea who have shaped it. #9 in the Rewind or Die series. 4y
Suet624 Love that idea. 4y
Centique I am here for vengeful merpeople 🙌 I have always loved the fairytale where the wife was a selkie and returned to the sea. 4y
Reggie @Centique me too. I like the sadder love story ones. Very “a bird and a fish could fall in love but where would they live?” type of sad. Have you ever seen that video to Electrical Storm by U2 where he‘s in love with that woman who‘s a mermaid but she‘s so miserable on land he has to take her back? 💔 😢 lol 4y
Centique @Reggie I haven‘t! I‘ll have to go and Google it. I‘m sure it‘s the sad love story aspect that draws me in too. 4y
