Day 2 of #JoyouJanuary went well. 1.) I logged in Bookley 2.) I read my chapter a day minimum for three books. 3.) I‘m working on the last book of My Hero Academia 4.) I listened to a little audiobooking today. 5.) Sailor Moon is ready when I‘m done with my other Manga. @Andrew65
McDonald‘s tourism + Sweet Valley this morning. This book was totally a filler episode, but I‘m still enjoying the series as a cultural artifact. Sometimes it‘s suuuuuper cringey and sometimes it‘s an obvious precursor to those late 90s/early 2000s hour-long dramas where each episode came with an Important Life Lesson (as opposed to the ones where everyone just schemes and torments each other, which it also resembles).
I guess I have a penchant for pretty book covers, because I had a hard time finding any ugly ones. I decided to delve into my Sweet Valley collection (fan for life!) and came up with this. It is not "ugly" per se, but Jessica looking all enamored with this uber creepy guy with the pornstache has always made me go, hmm. #septbookchallenge #uglybookcover #sweetvalley
