Dionne Warwick‘s grandfather used to say that if you can think it, you can do it. Something that stayed with Ms. Warwick throughout her life and career. The five-time Grammy award-winning artist and her team share that, presenting a B story of how she was able to find her talent, build a dream, and follow it. This inspiring tale reminds children that everyone has a special talent and that it is up to us to “find it, perfect it, and enjoy it.”
TabathaA This will be great presented as a RA, promoting UDL 9.1 (promote expectations and beliefs that optimize motivation) and 5.1 (use multiple media for communication), as well as EL 17 (provide contextual support through audio visuals, models, demonstrations, realia, body language and facial expressions) by utilizing the CD that comes along with the book. 4y

DrSpalding My mom loved her! This would be a fabulous book to read aloud during a historical figures social studies unit. I like the idea of sharing the interview as well. 4y
