Today I'm adding 2 #sports books for #NFNov.
The 1st is the book I tagged. It's the fantastic story of a young amateur golfer (Francis Ouimet) who beats out all the pros to win the 1913 U.S. Open. He was accompanied by 10 year old Eddie Lowery as his caddie.
Even if you're not a sports fan, story is fun, heart-warming, and enjoyable.

My darling husband loves to golf. When he watches golf on TV, I read of course! So when I told him about today's #augustphotochallenge he asked if I was going to do a post about golf. When I hesitated, he said "you've listened to me talk about golf for 20 years - that counts!" So here are his very few golf books (all gifts from my mother) and silly golf gift (from my dad). #booksandsports

SusanInTiburon I do the same thing you do! My husband golfs, and doesn't read a ton for leisure, but he loves loves loves P.G. Wodehouse's golf stories. In case you need a gift idea. 😉 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @SusanInTiburon Thanks! I'll check out the Wodehouse in Audible. We listen to audio books in the car sometimes. 🏌📚 8y
