Unfortunately my Saturday vibe is work for next week when I have manager training classes & a business review but I took myself to the coffeeshop for food & caffeination.

I also finished this lovely book of poetry from Barbara Kingsolver. I like how personal she gets & of course she excels at the nature poems. This was the last prompt I needed for my #OUABC 40 book challenge & also my ⬇️

Just found out about a free live discussion and poetry reading with author Barbara Kingsolver tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 5th) at noon EST(US & CAN) (9am PST) via Zoom. If you can‘t watch it live, they‘ll email you a recording of the event. FYI to #AuthorAMonth friends and #poetry fans!

Through the #authoramonth challenge and the posts of my Litsy friends, I discovered this book of poetry written by one of my favorite authors. One of the poems informs the reader that this form of writing is new for her. I felt her courage to try something new. Other favorites were those that named famous poets and writers and a section on a family trip to Italy with her Italian mother-in-law. A gentle collection of thoughts that I enjoyed.

I think I can fit in one more this month. #authoramonth
