pickWhy is the first book of the year the hardest? Probably because I‘m off of a two week break and back at work now 😆. The pacing was a bit off for me in this one but there was still plenty of action. I need answers! I‘ll probably take a small break before I read the next in the series.
pickLiked this book better than the first, but understand why we need the character development. Things are finally coming together, and I must say i absolutely adore opie & bitzy!!

This series dabbles in a few sub-genres that I haven‘t been enthused about lately, including paranormal, romance, and fantasy…and despite that, I still kind of like it. That‘s saying something. Its saving grace is the dystopian-ish world that it‘s set in.
I finished Savage Lands in one day, which is RARE for me. I couldn't put it down and immediately needed to get into the second book.
