This addictive YA horror about a group of teen ghost hunters who spend the night in a haunted LA hotel is The Blair Witch Project for the TikTok generation. When the YouTube-famous Ghost Gang--Chrissy, Chase, Emma, and Kiki--visit a haunted LA hotel notorious for tragedy to secretly film after dark, they expect it to be just like their previous paranormal huntings. Spooky enough to attract subscribers--and ultimately harmless. But when they stumble upon something unexpected in the former room of a gruesome serial killer, they quickly realize that they're in over their heads. Sometimes, it's the dead who need our help--and the living we should fear. Underlined is a line of totally addictive romance, thriller, and horror paperback original titles coming to you fast and furious each month. Enjoy everything you want to read the way you want to read it.

Chrissy is psychic and can see ghosts. She and 3 of her high school friends who belong to a Ghost Hunter club will be spending Halloween in LA at the infamous Hearst Hotel to see if they can communicate with all the spirits there. This was an easy Halloween read. It borrows heavily if not straight up copies from the Cecil Hotel with Elisa Lam and Richard Ramirez. So if that‘s not your thing stay away. I liked it, I liked the kids and it‘s a pick!

Bookzombie I read this! I even thought I reviewed it, but I didn‘t even mark it read. I liked it. Lol. 6mo
Reggie @Bookzombie lol, that‘s like when I buy the ebook of something and go out to clean the car and realize, omg, I had bought this already?!!! Lol I‘m glad you liked it. Have you ever seen the Hotel season of American Horror Story. It was kinda giving those vibes too. 6mo
Bookzombie @Reggie I have only seen the asylum season all the way through. I‘m not sure why I didn‘t watch the others. 6mo

This book was exactly what I wanted! It had ghosts galore and interesting characters to explore this infamous haunted hotel, bringing complications, humor, and terror to every interaction. I‘m aware of the Cecil Hotel and the very real deaths that happened there, which this book closely mirrors, but it was unique and interesting enough that I still enjoyed the story. I really hope the author writes more novels with these characters! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I can see the appeal of this. It reads quick and it has the creep factor. But it really missed the mark for me. This is basically a supernatural retelling of the actual true crime case of Elisa Lam and the similarities between that and this book are too close for comfort for me 👇🏻

RainyDayReading Hearst Hotel is nearly a complete copy of the Cecil Hotel, the characters weren‘t distinct enough so I often forget which POV I was in and all the romantic drama took over a majority of this already short book. Perhaps if the influences of the true crime story were disguised a little better, or at the very least not fully copied from the case, this book may have been more bearable. 2y
RainyDayReading But overall it‘s not one I would recommend. @TheAromaofBooks #bookspinbingo 2y
TheAromaofBooks At least it's off the list!! 2y

This was such a cute horror story with a bit of murder and romance mixed in. Being a HUGE paranormal you tube video fan I knew as soon as I read the plot that I just had to set aside every other book I have and read this right away. I have been looking for a book around the subject of a group of you tubers ghost hunting and this book did not disappoint. I completed it in a day so if you‘re looking for an easy read this ones for you
