pickA cute and fun tale of a group of cousins (the “Cupcake Coven”) from a family of witches that have been banned from using magic and what happens when that magic can no longer be contained. Billed as a rom-com, but the romance is more secondary to the witchy shenanigans. Fun if you don‘t overthink it and just enjoy the ride. Best character is obviously Griz, the cat 🐈⬛; his POV chapters were my favorites. Will likely check out the sequel sometime

pickI enjoyed this one that I picked to start off an audiobook marathon that's going on in one of my book groups. Just a fun fluffy read. I loved the cousins together and Esme. It's just a standalone as far as I'm aware but I wish the author would write more.
so-soIf you‘re looking for a purely fluff read, with witches, this is probably a good choice. It was not overly spectacular, but it was enjoyable, and I had fun listening to it. The dual narrators cover two specific MCs, so that added to the fun. Thanks to #NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced listening copy!
so-soThe overall story was cute and satisfying, however in the scheme of things I don‘t think it will be very memorable to me. This is a great book as a placeholder until you figure out what you want to read next.
pick🎧 I loved this book! I had so many reservations before jumping in! Not my genre! I must have been in the mood for an obvious Rom-Com good time! This was a light-hearted fun book that I finished in one sitting.
It‘s exactly what it says it is!!! It‘s funny, tropey, madcap fun!
