Bailedbailed

This is one of those times that I‘m glad to have the arbitrary goal of the month ending to push me to bail on a book. The premise of this is great—in 1962, three climbers took a picture of a mountain in Alaska and hoaxed the climbing world into believing it was in BC, and thereafter hunting for it to climb. But there‘s just not enough to the story for a full book and this ended up as a muddle.

TheAromaofBooks That's too bad, because the premise sounds pretty interesting! 2y

Here‘s my haul from Beach Books! I‘m very excited to finally have one of their t-shirts. And the socks say “Hate will fucking Lose.” And the book? This is why I love bookstores! I hadn‘t heard of this one at all and it looks absolutely fascinating. 🤓

wanderinglynn I love Seaside! 💚 2y
Chrissyreadit I need hate will fucking lose on my wall so I can see it every day!! It‘s hard to keep optimistic some days especially about human rights and climate change 2y
Hooked_on_books @Chrissyreadit Yes! Put it on your wall! We all need to see hopeful messages sometimes to keep going. 2y
