pickI struggle with the writing and that makes it lose stars. It is at times beautifully written and poetic and then too often, simplistic. I still love it though. It has a great premise, great characters, backstories that continue to build and create tension. The lore and the world are amazing. It is slow burn to the max but I will be rooting for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng throughout.

Pride month is celebrated in July in my current city, so I‘ll be continuing on with my LGBTQ reads. Up next, Heaven Official‘s Blessing. I‘ll read this then rewatch the second season of the anime.
pickThis is Vol 2 of this series and once again it‘s amazing. It picks up directly after Vol 1 so there is no time jump. I love the storyline and the characters are amazing. Highly recommend this series. I‘ve been told the animated story is just as wonderful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #LGBTQread

pickNooooooooo!!!!!!! Why is it over! Wahhhhhhhh! Why am I reading this series when the next 3 books won‘t be released immediately! At least book 4 is this month! Book 5 is in December and book 6 is in APRIL! How do I last?!
Throwback to yesterday, when I started vol 2 of HEAVEN OFFICIAL‘S BLESSING while I drank this blackberry vanilla sour. Vol 1 didn‘t grab me the way I wanted it to, but I think I‘m gonna like vol 2 more. Maybe I‘m in a different mood; maybe I‘m super excited there‘s a genderfluid character. Time will tell.
