TWILIGHT meets YOU in this biting tale of vampire love gone wrong. Rain Delaney has fallen hard for Guy; the dazzling, otherworldly man of her dreams. She's willing to indulge the darker parts of their relationship--the isolation, the blood loss, and the way Guy sometimes speaks to her like she's a child--in exchange for the thrilling danger and passion that comes with dating a godlike man. But wanting forever with Guy comes at a cost--Rain's life. It's a price she's willing to pay for an eternity of all-consuming, epic love, and a chance to finally feel like her boyfriend's equal. But when her old friend Tucker returns to town, stirring up a long-ago crush, Rain feels the first pangs of uncertainty over Guy and the (after) life she has agreed to. As time draws nearer to Rain's Becoming, her planned death at Guy's hands, an unnerving jealous streak arises in Guy, prompted by Rain's history with Tucker and his presence in her life now. Rain takes a careful step back from Guy, certain she can still feel his eyes on her at night, uncertain how she can extricate herself from a relationship with a man who possesses supernatural strength and has proven to keep a very firm grasp on the things he wants. A (Be)coming-of-age story for girls who know they're stronger than their vampire boyfriends.

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion but to me this book was a solid three stars. I spent the first half of the book debating about just DNFing it. It was hard for me to connect with the main character or any other character in this book. The storyline was average and nothing too memorable for me. I wanted so much to like this book but it just fell flat for me. I‘m happy to be done with the book because it was just a struggle.
