What I wouldn‘t have done to have this book as a new mom.

TheBookHippie It looks wonderful. It reminds me of the little binders I‘ve made for teen moms over the years. Because those “other” books were so demeaning and frustrating and not helpful. 3y
KathyWheeler What to Expect was new when I was pregnant with my son, so I read it. I don‘t remember at all how I felt about it. I do think it‘s telling that I never read the other books, never gave them as gifts, and didn‘t reread the first one when I was pregnant with my daughter 10 years later. Glad to see this approach instead. 3y
BookBabe Sounds interesting. I bookmarked the article. The example they gave of “sleep when your baby sleeps” … I had thought the same thing when people told me that. So I‘m just supposed to push a button and fall asleep at random intervals throughout the day and then happily be up all night? 😐 3y
BookBabe mothers looking for a book to help you get through motherhood, I recommend this one I‘m tagging here. It doesn‘t focus on the newborn phase exclusively but rather the entirety of the motherhood experience. It‘s written by a mother of 10. It has been such a blessing 3y
