A funny look at influencer culture in NYC
Book 1📚 4.3⭐️
A one day read!
A great portrayal of the influence of social media and why to not believe everything you see online!🛥️🎭
I found Meg extremely relatable and the allure of validation.
Daphne was a hoot. Until she wasn‘t.🚕
I gave up SM in 2020 and it was the best decision I ever made! (Excluding Litsy & Goodreads😝)
This is one of the most mediocre books I‘ve ever read, but I‘m 125 pages in (of 256), so I might as well finish it. 🙄 #cityoflikes #jennymollen
I mean seriously, who okayed this bullshit? WHY DOES A SENTENCE BREAK OFF INTO A BRAND NEW PARAGRAPH AND WHY AREN‘T THE MARGINS JUSTIFIED. 😒 #cityoflikes #jennymollen
I‘m…not sure how I feel about this yet. The jacket blurb seemed fun, but the interior looks like a bad self-pub job and it‘s really distracting. 😬 Also unclear if I actually like this character. 🤷🏻♀️ #cityoflikes #jennymollen
Was this interesting? Sure. Was the writing good, no, it‘s mediocre. Would I recommend it? Yeah, why not.. it‘s an easy read and focuses on influencer life and the manipulation of digital media. Never believe everything you see online.
