Unnatural History | Jonathan Kellerman

A gripping new crime novel featuring Alex Delware from the bestselling master of suspense. When a photographer is found inside an LA warehouse slumped in bed, shot to death, it sets in motion a complex and dangerous case for Lieutenant Milo Sturgis and Psychologist Alex Delaware. The victim had just received rave media attention for his latest project - images of homeless people living out their 'dreams'. But there were many who saw the work as crass exploitation. Did anger turn to homicidal rage? Or do the roots of violence reach down to the victim's own family? As new murders arise, Alex and Milo must peel back the layers of the case - and will find themselves coming up against in one of the deadliest threats they've ever faced...

My husband and I still have a couple of hours left in The Concrete Blonde, and it will be awhile before I finish Unnatural History. Both are good books so far. Last year, it was freezing on Fat Tuesday; this year, I would have been hot if not for the wonderful breeze. #audiowalk

I will almost always get the latest Alex Delaware book as soon as I can, and I always get audio because I like John Rubinstein‘s narration. It‘s my new walking book. My granddaughter and I went to Bellingrath Gardens today and had a great time. #audiowalk

lynneamch Love Bellingrath! We're in Gulf Shores for a few weeks. Hope to get over there early March. Mardi Gras parade here tomorrow. 14mo
KathyWheeler @lynneamch I had planned on taking my granddaughter to Gulf Shores instead of Bellingrath, but getting through downtown to go across the bay is almost impossible right now because of the parades, so we went the opposite direction to Bellingrath. Have fun in Gulf Shores! (edited) 14mo

Mehso-so

Lately, Jonathan Kellerman‘s books have been hit or miss. This one is kind of both. There were times when I was so bored with this novel that I nearly DNFed it. Am I glad I finished it? I‘m still not sure. The eventual short action part was good. The rest was iffy. Read it or don‘t. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alfoster Agree! I‘ve loved many of his but sometimes they‘re so long I get bogged down! 1y

Never disappointed in this series.

Farewell for now, Alex and Milo (and Robin and Blanche), until we meet again!

I think there are maybe three (?) authors who invoke for me a must-read-right-now situation when they release new books into the world, and Jonathan Kellerman is one of them. I put this on my library‘s wait list as soon as I could, months ago, and I scored the very first borrow - on its publication date! 🎉 There are not a lot of places where trying to express that sort of excitement can be appreciated, so yay for Litsy! 🤓📚♥️

Alfoster Agree! Love Alex and his cases too! 1y
