Such a great story on a Frankenstein-style tale of sisters and the depths one is willing to take to bring her sister back at any cost leading to very unexpected results leading to more questions.

The opening was such a heart wrenching moment and sets up the voice for the lead MC, M, as she navigates a world she's been forced into. M is so open, unguarded, both in expression and mannerisms.

After a tragic accident leads to a premature death, all Dr. Frances Ai wants is to bring her sister back. What arises from her reanimation experiment isn't Maura... but rather, M.

Inspired by Frankenstein, this debut graphic novel provides far more than just a slight twist on the classic.

Librariana At the core of Talia Dutton's M is for Monster, there are themes of loss and grief, resentment and forgiveness, but more significantly, of rejecting expectations and embracing identity. Ultimately and most importantly, of inclusion, love, and acceptance. 2y

Touching story examining identity, personality, grief, growth. Some spooky moments (depending on what spooks you 🤷🏼‍♂️😱).
