Loved Jane‘s YouTube channel so much I had to buy this one. The photos are gorgeous and the food I‘ve prepared has been yummy. I appreciate how this book shares many individual recipes (hummus, sauces, dressings, pickled veggies) that I can combine in whatever way I like. They give several recipes for Build Your Own Bowl, but I‘m always modifying those because I have leftover veggies to mix in. I‘m looking at you 🥕and celery! ⬇️
Win some, lose some. These “cupcakes” had fabulous flavor, but the texture was chewy & doughy. My fault surely for using whole wheat & white flour. I will try again with oat flour. Also, I have no intention of making the tofu frosting. (Too much fuss for me.) Just a light lime glaze will be enough. To be fair, Jane does disclose these aren‘t the light & fluffy cupcakes people have come to expect. They‘re more akin to dense muffins.

I‘m not a huge fan of soft cauliflower, but this looks fabulous! ❤️ southeast Indian flavors. I just got this book today and will be perusing it more in depth. I enjoy watching Jane & Ann on YouTube. 😄
