Book 227 of the year.
This one was interesting. I'm slightly annoyed because it ends on a cliffhanger, and I finished it right before bedtime. Now, I have to force myself not to immediately start the next book.
Some parts of this volume were a little slow, but I kind of enjoyed that. We got to see a lot from Yor's perspective. I feel like the last few volumes she was ignored a bit, so I really like having such a strong focus on her in this one.
Action packed! I loved the parallel story lines of Yor on red alert as a body guard and Loid as bewildered in the role of trying to be a fun Dad, while Anya reluctantly has an absolute blast. Even if it ends with a bit of a cliffhanger, I appreciated the time that was given to Yor in her job vs fussing about her role as wife or mother, and a fresh helping of silly for Loid and Anya. 🛳️
He actually said that name with a straight face. 🤨
Oh no! I‘m officially caught up with this series and we are left with a heck of a cliffhanger! This volume really focused on Yor and it was fun to read from her perspective.
