The Bad Guys in Open Wide and Say Arrrgh! (The Bad Guys #15)
The Bad Guys in Open Wide and Say Arrrgh! (The Bad Guys #15) | Aaron Blabey

NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE! "I wish I'd had these books as a kid. Hilarious!" -- Dav Pilkey, creator of Captain Underpants and Dog Man They may look like Bad Guys, but these wannabe heroes are doing good deeds... whether you like it or not in this New York Times bestselling illustrated series. WEIRD?! Nothing weird EVER happens in The Bad Guys. Like, you would NEVER see a chain-saw monster confronting a velociraptor who has eaten an elderly piranha, or the disturbing antics of a deranged dentist running amok with an oversized drill. NOPE. None of that nonsense here. So relax and be entirely unsurprised by the Bad Guys next adventure!

Definitely more plot than character development, though we do get a few new characters I want to see more of, in this entry, but whether I was in the right mood or the pacing just worked better, I had fun with the adventure and didn't mind that the ending is once again 'to be continued' for this arc.

The polite little bat that wears a sweater vest with collar and tie. I love him.

Smack! I had informed him that he was mistaken!

Does seem like it might be fun for little kids but as an adult reader I would like a little more of a storyline.

Graphica. I found the storyline in this book a bit hard to follow. This might be because I have not read all of the series to get to no the characters but it just seems to jump from one action to another. doesn't build much of a storyline.
