DrSpalding Nice job using our department of education resource for teachers. This book puts the E in STEAM. Architecture and engineering along with quality picture books of the traditional literature variant genre… Fantastic! 4y

I would definitely read this book to my students when talking about the importance of hard work. If you work hard at something, it eventually pays off in the end.

Genre: Traditional Literature
I remember reading this book when I was a child; however, I somewhat forgot some pieces of the plot in the book so it was fun to revisit this story. When the third pig takes the time to build his house with brick, this goes to show that hard work and perseverance while doing something pays off in the end.

In the traditional literature story, the three little pigs take on a more modern day look. There's still three pigs, there's still a bad wolf, and there is still a house that makes it out alive. Readers can create these characters before or after the story to make reading the story more fun.
