Three Queer couples spend Christmas to New Year‘s together in a converted farmhouse in upstate New York. This was an overwhelmingly detailed and uncomfortable book. Not due to queerness, but because the main character, Sasha is so awful and up her own butt. There‘s some interesting commentary on the performative aspects of gender and femme vs butch lesbianism, but not enough to counteract the self absorption and superficiality of the rest of it.
