All Max wants to do with his life is make comics, and all his parents do is discourage him. His life takes a turn for the hopeful when a mysterious recluse, a Parisian comics veteran, buys a ruined chateau in the woods near Max's house. His appearance is echoed by the arrival of a mysterious peddler with a printing press in the medieval village of Max's comic, in which a monk is busily spinning a tale of Max's daughter Suzie, all grown up and an illustrator in her own right. Tales nest in tales in Alexandre Clérisse's dizzyingly intricate musing on creation.

This cover was very difficult to find a yarn pairing for. I looked at a whole bunch of different hand-dyers pages. And in the end... the closest I could find turned out to be from the same dyer as last time. Is the universe trying to tell me I need more yarn?

So here it is, “Lady Glitter Sparkles“ by Felt Fusion.

This timey-wimey graphic novel, translated from the French, rather grew on me. And I very much enjoyed the art.
