This is a lengthy article but for those who want to know more in depth about the origins of this celebration, it is fascinating. I hang St. Bridget‘s Cross on my front door every Imbolic day .

Cuilin We made St Bridget‘s crosses in school in growing up in Ireland. The Monday after St B‘s day is now a national holiday. 10mo

marleed I have quite a few St Bridget‘s crosses. It‘s my favorite cross. My gift-giving eldest (and most Irish) sister (RIP) owned an Irish store in my hometown for many years. I was the recipient of her gifted crosses and since she knew my fondness for St Bridget, I Have reminders of both of them all through my house! 10mo
