Any love story aficionado will say that the key to a successful couple is intense desire for one another—but what if the characters in question are an asexual woman with a passion for Boys Love stories and a gay man whose heart forever belongs to his oblivious childhood friend? Although romance will never be in the cards for newlyweds Yuriko and Gakurouta, the bond blossoming between them promises to be a wonderful relationship—the likes of which neither has ever experienced before…

I've never read manga before, but this volume was really sweet. It's a story about an aro-ace woman and a gay man who marry and the subsequent platonic relationship that blossoms in wake of the ceremony. I read all the panels in the wrong order at first (reading manga is a learning curve!). I'm definitely interested in reading vol. 2 and vol. 3. The characters were really lovely. Will it be a platonic happily ever after? Consider me invested.

TieDyeDude I really enjoyed Vol. 1 & 2. Lots of backstory, I'm hoping Vol 3 looks more at their current lives (and that our library system gets Vol 3 :) ) 5mo
TheIntrovertedDodoBird @TieDyeDude I would love more exploration of their current lives, too. The backstory in vol. 1 was useful for character insight, but I really hope vol. 3 delivers a storyline in the present. I found my copy on Vinted, but I can't get my hands on the next two yet. Fingers crossed your library gets vol. 3 soon :). 5mo

A gay man and an asexual woman marry. Why? Dunno. You can assume social pressure, but there is not much of a story, so far. As the first volume, it was mostly character introductions and back stories, but the main characters are very endearing. I don't normally seek out manga, but I'm interested in continuing this story.

No one should ever answer that question

This was cute. It's a story of an asexual woman and a gay man getting married.

Booksblanketsandahotbeverage Sounds cute. Why did they get married? 2y
PuddleJumper @BookHoarder32 It's not really explained. It seems to have been arranged by their parents or maybe done for their parents 2y
